25 Years of PR & Marketing Experience in the USA & UK

As a multiple award-winning expert in brand strategy, consumer insight and event marketing for clients in the food, beverage, hospitality and luxury brands arena, I have created unique programs and award shows that drive both media coverage and sales for clients including Johnnie Walker, Grolsch, Grey Goose, Bombay Sapphire, Lexus, American Express, Nestle, Tropicana, Peroni, Drambuie, New York Restaurant Week, Starwood Hotels, Orient-Express Hotels and the global launch of Zacapa Rum. I also created and managed the acclaimed San Pellegrino ‘Almost Famous Chef Contest’ in Las Vegas and the popular Perrier Cowboys experiential campaign.

I have extensive experience in the publishing world, including in-house at Bon Appétit and Conde Nast Traveller magazines where I produced creative services programmes around the world, including the Bon Appétit Wine & Spirits Focus in New York, LA, Dallas, Chicago and Miami and the famed Conde Nast Traveller Readers Choice Awards in Strasbourg. I'm also a published travel writer, having written about the UK, Miami, Prague and Cunard's Queen Mary 2.

Prior to founding boutique agency IdeaZeit in 2006 I served as SVP at Maloney & Fox in New York. There I led the agency’s food and beverage practice along with new business acquisitions (agency since acquired by Waggener-Edstrom). My work there on the Godiva Liqueur account won two awards for the agency including the prestigious PRSA Big Apple Award and my Drambuie Den campaign was nominated for a Sabre Award.

I headed a highly successful PR campaign for the famed Italian design show “i Saloni” in its first foray to the U.S. market and convinced the Mayor of New York to proclaim the first-ever New York Design Week. I also worked on special projects for Microsoft and T-Mobile including the launch of the first smart phone format BlackBerry in 2004. I served for three years as PR Manager for the prestigious James Beard Awards (the Oscars of the restaurant industry) and in 1996 as Media Relations for the glamorous Daytime EMMY Awards at Radio City Music Hall.

In addition to brand work, I produce and promote unique theatrical events in London, including the first-ever variety show at the Tower of London in 2016 featuring stars of the West End, which raised over £12,000 for the restoration of the Tower's chapel.  Please drop me a line via the Contact page.
